AI glossary
Slop
Slop is work passed on without anyone thinking about it, most often AI’s: generic, padded or wrong, and it costs the reader time. It’s a behaviour, not a tool: the same AI can produce slop or careful work, depending on whether a person briefs it well and checks what comes back.
Think of it as
A ready meal served as if you’d cooked it, untasted.
Why it matters at work
Slop moves the work from the sender to the reader, and it costs the sender trust. Module 2 teaches how to tell good work from slop.
