Context engineering: long chats, projects and research tasks

What you’ll be able to do by the end:

  1. 1Restart a chat that’s going wrong from a one-page brief, checked for dropped decisions.
  2. 2Set up a folder that would let you carry on if every chat were lost.
  3. 3Judge which of several folders would survive losing every chat, and say what the others are missing.
  4. 4Set up a long task with strong starting conditions, and leave it to run.
  5. 5Build a handover that’s safe to leave running, and say why it’s safe.
