How AI works, and how to judge what’s safe to share with ChatGPT and other tools
What you’ll be able to do by the end:
- 1Describe what happens between pressing Enter and getting an answer, using the words context, token and tool.
- 2Find which account, model and mode you’re using, and say what that means for what you put in.
- 3Sort realistic tasks into green, amber and red, and give the reason.
- 4Name one thing AI does brilliantly and one thing it does badly.
- 5Judge an AI answer in your own field, naming one thing it got right and one it got wrong.
